About
Scarborough Borough Council is a progressive Council aiming to deliver quality services by working with partners to make a real difference locally. The Borough Council is a second tier Authority established in 1974. It has a peripheral location on the East Coast of Yorkshire. Scarborough, Whitby and Filey are the key towns and the large areas are National Park and Heritage Coast. The environment of the area has provided the basis for a successful tourist economy and generally a high quality of life for residents. This website has been developed to ensure that both visitors and residents have access to a whole range of information across the Borough to promote the many attractions, events, festivals and activities that are on offer. The site has been developed by Scarborough Borough Council’s Web Services team and Marketing and Communication Services. The successful creation of this website would not have been possible without the kind assistance of a number of other contributors.
The developers of this website woud like to offer their sincere gratitude to the following individuals, companies and organisations... Max Payne (MBE) Mark Denton Adverset Pindar plc North York Moors National Park |
