RHS Tatton Park 2005 - Gold Medal

The Parks & Countryside team were awarded a prestigious RHS gold medal in the national flowerbed competition, for their exhibit Only a Hearbeat Away.

The flowerbed depicted 3dimensional planted sheep, grazing on the North Yorkshire Moors, and the theme was chosen to represent the Borough's diverse charms, from the moors to the sea, from formal gardens to blue flag beaches visitors are only a heartbeat away from spectactular scenery.

Visitors are now able to view the flowerbed as it has been replicated within the town centre, and is now situated at the top of Somerset Terrace.
