Walk along the edges of the cliffs and discover a variety of fossils, millions of years old. You will see rocks formed in the upper Jurassic period around 150 million years ago. Fossils found in this area include Gastropod, (a close relation of modern winkles and snails), Colonial Coral, Starfish and a group of Trigonia bivalves.

The beach has been regularly awarded the ENCAMS Seaside Award and will be flying the distinctive blue and yellow flag, (please confirm the current status as the award is annual).
