Film Locations

A cafe and the Span Bridge, Scarborough.The Borough of Scarborough provides a varied landscape and mixed architecture and has been attracting filmmakers, TV companies, music video makers and advertisers for years.

 

Films such as Little Voice, Dracula, A Chorus of Disapproval and, more recently, Captain Jack, Possession and Harry Potter have all chosen this beautiful part of the Yorkshire coast as their location.

 

Regular TV series such as Heartbeat and The Royal are also filmed along the Yorkshire coast and moors.

 

There are over 727 hectares (2000 acres) of parks and woodland as well as some superb venues such as The Spa Complex, Whitby Abbey, Filey Crescent Gardens and Robin Hoods Bay.
