Group Travel Trade

A packed audience enjoys a performance at the Open Air Theatre, Scarborough.

With lively seaside resorts and quieter coastal retreats blending into serene countryside dotted with picturesque villages and quaint market towns, there is plenty to explore in this glorious corner of Yorkshire.

You will also discover a rich heritage, first-class attractions, quaity accommodation and a host of top-class eateries....

Visit the Yorkshire coast and countryside and you can have a completely different experience every day you are here.

Spend a day at the seaside on the Moors or in nearby Dalby Forest, visit historic sites and stately homes, museums and art galleries, check out some of the great visitor attractions, follow in the steps of TV and film heroes or historical figures, or take to the rails...with our help, the possibilities are endless.

There's plenty to entertain groups in the area - whatever ther age or interests.  There is a varied programme of events and festivals taking place throughout the year covering heritage, the arts, sport, music, cultural activities and agriculture.  We also have great live entertainment on offer every day of the week, meaning you'll be spoilt for choice.

Scarborough, Whitby and Filey have larger performance venues which present variety shows, musicals, comedies, big name acts and dramas, and we also have a host of more intimate venues offering live entertainment across the whole of the area.  In addition there is a wonderful forest setting at Dalby which this June is hosting live performances from Plan B and Will Young.

We think the Yorkshire Coast and Countryside area something for everyone - but don't take our word for it - keep browsing to find out what the area can offer to groups.

We have produced a guide to assist you in planning your visit.  It contains details of a selection of accommodation providers, attractions and eating establishments that welcome groups.  If you require further information call into one of our tourist information centres or contact us direct at the bureau.
