The Scarborough theatre scene is also excellent with the world renowned Stephen Joseph Theatre hosting an extensive programme of first-class drama, live music, films, comedy and live streaming – including the world premieres of plays by one of Britain’s greatest living playwrights Sir Alan Ayckbourn.
